    How the treatment works

Once you've booked your treatment, you'll receive a consent form and a health declaration by email to fill out before you arrive. At the clinic, go through the main entrance and follow the signs to the red light room. The room is yours for 25 minutes, and the treatment itself lasts 15 minutes from when you press Start.

We recommend undressing to your underwear so the light can reach as much of your skin as possible. Please also remove make-up, cosmetic products and any reflective jewellery or accessories. Before lying down, give the pod a quick wipe with the spray and cloth provided.

When you're ready, lie down comfortably in the pod and put on the eye protection waiting for you in the room. Then press Start. The treatment lasts 15 minutes and ends automatically, so there's nothing you need to do along the way. Just relax and enjoy. You may feel some warmth from the light, and the pod has ventilation and cooling to keep the experience comfortable.
When the treatment is finished, give the pod a quick wipe with the spray and cloth so it's ready for the next customer. You can carry on with your day as normal afterwards, no special aftercare is needed.

    Market-leading technology from Lyfe Nordic

We use the Red Light Pod from Lyfe Nordic, a professional, market-leading pod for full-body red light therapy. The pod combines two types of light across four precise wavelengths: 633 nm, 660 nm, 850 nm and 940 nm.

The red wavelengths act near the surface, while the near-infrared light reaches deep into the tissue. This way your whole body is exposed at the same time for maximum effect.

    Frequently asked questions

Can't find the answer you're looking for? Get in touch with us, we're here to help.

Red light therapy is a full-body treatment where your body is exposed to red and near-infrared light. At Squeeze you lie in a Lyfe Nordic Red Light Pod for 15 minutes while the light reaches your body from both above and below.
In Norwegian, red light therapy is called rødlysterapi. Both names refer to the same treatment. You may also see it called RLT or photobiomodulation.
No, you don't need to bring anything special. The eye protection you'll wear during the treatment is ready for you in the room, and it stays at the clinic afterwards.
You undress to your underwear before the treatment so as much of your skin as possible is exposed to the light.
Yes. Remove make-up and other cosmetic products before you arrive, and take off any reflective jewellery or accessories.
You lie down comfortably in the pod, put on the eye protection and press Start. Then you can relax while the treatment runs. It lasts 15 minutes and ends automatically.
You may feel a pleasant warmth from the light. The pod has ventilation and cooling to keep the treatment comfortable.
Yes, red light therapy can be combined with training and other physical activity.
It varies from person to person. Some notice a difference quickly, while others need several treatments before they notice an effect.

Red light therapy suits most people, but some conditions mean the treatment should be avoided or discussed with a doctor first. This applies if you, among other things:

    • Are pregnant
    • Have known light sensitivity or photosensitivity
    • Use medication or products that can increase light sensitivity
    • Have a pacemaker
    • Have active cancer or are undergoing cancer treatment
    • Have photosensitive epilepsy
    • Have open wounds or an active skin infection in the area being treated
    • Have an eye condition where bright light should be avoided
    • Have a fever or an acute illness
    • Have another serious medical condition that hasn't been cleared with a doctor

If you've recently had Botox, fillers or another injectable treatment, you should also wait a while before taking red light therapy. Ask whoever performed the injectable treatment about the recommended waiting time.

You'll go through all of this in the health declaration you fill out before your first treatment. If you're unsure whether the treatment is right for you, we recommend checking with a doctor before booking.

No. Red light therapy is not a substitute for medical treatment or assessment by a doctor.
For the best effect, we recommend red light therapy 3–5 times a week. You can also take the treatment as needed or whenever you want a relaxing break in your day.
