About the treatment

Before the treatment

The massage is only performed between weeks 13–36 of pregnancy. Let the therapist know if you have any concerns related to your pregnancy. Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to remove. We have a specially adapted cushion with space for your belly, so you can lie comfortably on your stomach during the treatment.

During the treatment

You lie on your stomach in a specially adapted cushion with space for your belly. The treatment covers legs, back, arms, neck and optionally the head, depending on your preferences. The therapist uses soft, adapted techniques that are safe during pregnancy. Communication is key: let us know if anything feels uncomfortable.

After the treatment

Drink plenty of water after the treatment. Rest if you feel tired. Contact your midwife or doctor if you experience anything unusual after the massage.
